This 4.25-yd machine was just delivered to Closner Equipment, Thermo-Lay’s exclusive dealer in Texas, to serve as their new demonstration unit.
This machine incorporates Thermo-Lay’s new, tougher welded steel enclosure for tailgate controls. The enclosure design eliminates all external cabling, and it includes a sun visor that folds down to protect the screen during travel.
Other features of this build include:
- Compactor lift,
- Two hydraulically operated spoils bin,
- Four-yard asphalt hopper with release agent spray system,
- Propane-fired radiant heating system with electric overnight heater,
- Directional auger dispensing,
- Heated tack tank with tack spray wand,
- Hydraulic circuit for jackhammer, and
- Safety beacons and arrowboard.
